Storytelling for Specialized Women

Project Overview

Project Type: Editorial campaign – content, production, photography

Client: Specialized Women / My Ride My Rules

Location: Paris, France

Roles: Photographer, producer, creative collaborator

The Story

Specialized wanted to highlight the freedom and joy of urban cycling through the lens of their Turbo e-bike—specifically through stories that resonated with women riders. Working with cycling coach and personality Tori Bortman, we developed a story-driven itinerary through Paris that emphasized art, food, and discovery. The goal wasn’t just to showcase the bike but to show what riding one feels like. The result was more than a photo campaign. It was a lived experience—one that others could follow, adapt, or use as inspiration for their own city explorations.

My Role

I handled logistics, creative planning, and photography. From curating the route to scouting locations, I ensured each moment we captured reflected a real experience—Tori exploring galleries, grabbing pastries, gliding through neighborhoods—with the Turbo as a seamless extension of her day. This wasn’t a posed campaign. It was a fully designed experience, created with intention and delivered through authentic storytelling.

Why It Matters

The final piece was featured in Specialized’s My Ride My Rules campaign. What set it apart was its authenticity: real rider, real places, real flow.
It helped the brand connect with its audience not through hype but through human experience—something accessible, joyful, and repeatable.
